It's important to me that I am trusted so I can make you feel the best in your own skin with makeup, and all beauty services I offer. When it comes to makeup, and while I love it, I also try to emphasize the person, and not mask them with makeup. My style is not one for "trendy" looks, or brides who want the latest "in-style" My brides are looking to elevate their natural beauty, while remaining classic and timeless.

HOW DO I PREPARE FOR LASH LIFT?
+
- Arrive without ANY eye makeup on- think squeaky clean lashes
- Have your contacts removed if applicable
- Try to discontinue the use of eyelash growth serum at least 2 days prior to your appt.
- Discontinue the use of waterproof mascara WEEKS before- that stuff never comes off!
- STOP buying waterproof mascara ;)
- Be sure you’ve had your lash extensions removed at least a month prior to getting a lash lift
- Look over and understand the contraindications prior to your appt. to be sure you are a good candidate for a lash lift

WHAT SHOULD I EXPECT WITH LASH LIFT

- You lose 1-5 lashes a day- your lashes do NOT look the same for the entirety of the lift
- Your lifted lashes will shed, and new, straight lashes will grow in, gradually changing the shape of your lift
- Your lash lift may not last as long every time you get them done- depends on where you are in your lash growth cycle- generally anywhere between 6-8, up to 12 weeks
- If you have a lot of new lashes growing in, your lift will grow out quickly
- If you use a growth serum, do NOT use it everyday- 2-3 times weekly for maintenance ONLY
- If you use a lash growth serum, do NOT just stop cold turkey- you will shed A LOT.
- If you use a lash growth serum, do NOT use it everyday- your lift will grow out quickly and MESSY
- Understand that you will have a couple weeks of lifted and straight lashes mixed together
- If you must use a lash curler to make applying mascara easier during this time, do it CAREFULLY
- You cannot get your lashes lifted as soon as you notice they are not perfectly lifted anymore-
- This is a chemical service and you need to preserve the integrity of your lashes.
- Allow at least 6-8 weeks between appointments

WHAT IS THE AFTERCARE FOR LASH LIFT?

- Within the first 24 hours-
Do not get your lashes wet, avoiding heat and steam
Do not apply mascara
Do not touch or rub them
Do not use lash growth serums, creams, or oils - Avoid sleeping on your face
- Begin using your Elleeplex keratin lash gel (morning or night, or BOTH!)

HOW DO I PREPARE FOR BROW HENNA?

- STOP ALL AT HOME BROW GROOMING. Try tog give yourself 4 weeks from your last brow grooming session (this includes any professional brow shaping as well). Avoid waxing, threading, tweezing, trimming, or shaving around the brow area for at least one month, or longer if a lot of damage has been done.
- You can come with makeup on or off, doesn’t matter.
- Start feeding your brows with health. Brow growth serums and castor oil applied daily can help.

WHAT SHOULD I EXPECT WITH BROW HENNA?
+
- Henna Brow Tinting is a TREATMENT. This service if repeated often (4-6 weeks) can dramatically help regrow over groomed brows. Some clients can take as long as a year before old, empty follicles decide to produce a hair.
- Again, this is a TREATMENT. It also conveniently delivers a beautiful tint to the brow hairs and leaves a skin stain behind. If you already have dark/black brow hairs, you will not see the visual lasting results as long as someone who has blonde/fair colored hair. PLEASE REMEMBER, dark haired clients still receive the same nourishing benefits! Typically the tint can last up to 6 weeks.
- I have to get to know how your skin and hair take the color. I aim to nail this everytime, but it could take a few sessions before I am able to zero in on exactly what makes you happy. This line of brow tinting is natural, and so are the colors within it. Take this into consideration as I skillfully use my expertise to balance them with your skin and hair tones.
- The skin stain may initially come off warm or cool, it may evolve over that day or the following days. Sometimes it appears warm simply from blood coming to the surface of your skin during the treatment.
- Immediately it could feel dark or overwhelming depending on your request or how your skin and hairs take the tint. This WILL fade, so don’t stress. If it’s overwhelming, just wash your face. Use gentle face wash, and DO NOT SCRUB. Henna is only coloring the top layer of your skin, scrubbing could cause flaky, spottiness.
- Natural looking results will fade faster. There is no way to get this to last longer without going darker.
- Henna is not Microblading. Your brows may be at two different locations on your face (one higher than the other is typical), I will NOT correct this. I will do my best to make them look like mirror images, but they will still be at different locations.
- Unlike regular brow tinting, Henna wraps its color around each hair creating more thickness with the brow hairs. If you repeat this service, that color will build making vellus hairs appear more dominant.

WHAT IS THE AFTERCARE FOR BROW HENNA?

- As the days pass, your skin stain will fade. Most likely it will not last beyond 5 days (general time frame is 2-14 days). Henna is only attached to the top layer of skin. Any moisture and natural skin oils will fade the color.
- Avoid face washing, sweating, moisture of any kind, and sun for the first 24hrs.
- Avoid scrubs and brightening products around the brow area.
- Once the skin stain fades, resume brow serums or castor oil.
- Rebook! 4-6 weeks is ideal for those wanting to aid in regrowth

WHAT TYPE OF FACIALS DO YOU OFFER?

Ethereal Beauty and Wellness’s facials are more spa like and relaxing. In both the Express(30min’ish) and Relaxation facial (1hr’ish) we will use products aimed to your skincare concern with a focus on hydration, exfoliation and deep relaxation. Both services include facial massage. Relaxation facial includes decollate and neck, arm shoulder massage.

WHAT IS DERMAPLANING?

Dermaplaning is an physical exfoliation that removes surface dead skin cells and vellous hair from the face. This form of exfoliation smooths the skin and allows for the active ingredients in skincare products and treatments to penetrate deeper into the skin furthering their anti-aging benefits. Alternatives to dermaplaning include microdermabrasion and scrubs for exfoliation, and waxing, threading or cream depilatory for hair removal. There is no single treatment to replace dermaplaning.

ARE THERE CONTRAINDICATIONS TO DERMAPLANING?

Yes, including but not limited to diabetes, cancer, active acne, bleeding disorders and the inability for blood to coagulate following injury. Certain medications including blood thinners, higher dosages of Aspirin, and Accutane are contraindicated for this treatment due to increased sensitivity and/or the possibility of delayed clotting from a nick or cut.

WARNING
Waxing is never done on clients taking Accutane and is not recommended for clients taking Retin A, Renova, Differin or other types of skin thinning acne medications. Please read the label carefully and consult your dermatologist if you are taking any medication or using any topical cream that contains these medications. Individuals do react differently to these medications and sometimes waxing can be done if proper patch testing is completed.

PRECAUTIONS & CONSIDERATIONS
Please read these valuable guidelines
• Sunburned, irritated or areas with open skin cannot be waxed.
• Moles cannot be waxed.
• You must wait a minimum of seven (7) days before waxing after a light chemical peel or Microdermabrasion
• Waxing cannot be performed if you have been in a tanning booth the same day.
• Waxing cannot be performed if you have had laser skin resurfacing within the past year.
• Waxing cannot be performed if you have had a physician administered peel within the past two (2) years.
• If irritation should occur, recommend you use an antibiotic ointment such as Neosporin to keep the area continually moist to avoid infection and scabbing.
• No sun/tanning booths for 2 days following a waxing treatment. Extra precaution should be taken if using tanning accelerators. Wait 2-3 days to wax before/after tanning with accelerators.
• No hot baths for 24 hours following a body waxing treatment.
• No abrasives for 24 hours following a waxing treatment.
• No deodorants for 24 hours following an underarm waxing treatment.
• Women may experience extra sensitivity to waxing up to a week prior to the beginning of their menstrual cycle.
